Sustainable Development Goals
From April 6 to April 17, 2026, within the framework of the academic mobility program at the NCJSC “Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University,” master’s students in the specialty “Nursing” from Tashkent State Medical University — Saburova S.E. and Zhumaeva Kh.Sh. — are undertaking their studies.
As part of the implementation of the academic mobility program, the Head of the Department of Nursing, Mahanbetkulova D.N., delivered a lecture for the master’s students on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) No. 3 “Good Health and Well-being” and No. 5 “Gender Equality.”
The lecture was aimed at developing students’ understanding of global healthcare challenges, the role of healthcare professionals in achieving sustainable development, as well as the importance of ensuring equal opportunities, gender equality, and strengthening public health. Special attention was given to issues of accessibility of healthcare services and reducing inequality within the healthcare system. The lecture also addressed modern approaches to the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals principles in the professional activities of healthcare workers.
Scientific internship for master’s students in Lithuania
Master’s students in the specialty “Nursing” Serik Maira, Abdrasil Zhansaya underwent a scientific internship under the Erasmus+ program at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences LSMU, Lithuania, Kaunas. The purpose of the scientific internship: to increase the interest of master’s and doctoral students in developing competencies for further education and developing competencies for teaching and research in nursing in Kazakhstan.
