The department provides training for:
- undergraduate students of the H. Dosmukhamedov School of Public Health, Dentistry, and Pharmacy; 7th-year interns of the Faculty of General Medicine and Pediatrics in the discipline: Social Determinants of Health; master’s and doctoral students.
- The department has introduced project-based learning and received a certificate of entry in the State Register of Copyright Protection No. 10639 dated June 9, 2020. Project-based integrated learning based on an interdisciplinary approach (Koshyrbaeva L., Kumar A., Abikulova A., Tolganbaeva K., Khojamkul R.).
Research work of students:
As part of project-based learning, the department conducts research work with students in various areas: “VOP”, “Surgical Diseases”, “Internal Diseases”, “Obstetrics and Gynecology”, “Pediatric Diseases”. Based on the results of research work with students, more than 100 articles have been published in journals, including those recommended by the KKSON RK.
The department staff are scientific supervisors of doctoral and master’s students.
