On April 12, 2018, in the lecture hall No. 6 at 11.00, an event dedicated to the Day of Science Workers was organized by the Department of Nutrition with a course of hygiene and occupational medicine, communal hygiene, hygiene of children and adolescents. Since 2011, April 12 in Kazakhstan, its professional holiday – Day of the Workers of Science. It was established by the Decree of the President of the Republic No. 164 dated October 20, 2011. This event was held with the participation of the head of the chair “Nutrition with the course of hygiene and labor medicine, municipal hygiene, hygiene of children and adolescents” MS Kaynarbayeva, associate professors, teachers and mentors of the department, 3rd year students “Public Health” and 2 courses of the faculty “General medicine». The aim of the event is to improve the general consciousness, to instill in the next generation a love of science, pride and respect for the homeland. Among the students there were competitions. Active participants were awarded with brochures and books.
