REPORT ON THE EVENТ “PROPAGANDA OF THE ERASMUS PROGRAM”

On October 4, 2022, an event dedicated to the promotion of the Erasmus program among students was held at the Department of Public Health. The organizers of the event are the participants of the Harmonee scientific project within the framework of Erasmus+, associate professors of the department Aitmanbetova A.A., Kozhekenova Zh.A., Zhakupova M.N.
The purpose of the event is to familiarize the student audience with the program of the European Union aimed at promoting the modernization and sustainable development of education, training, youth and sports. This program provides financial opportunities for cooperation with the European Union, as well as partner countries around the world.
According to the scenario of the event, presentations were provided in Kazakh and English, where students of the OZ19-001-1 group Yerbulatova G., Sabit M. demonstrated various opportunities of the Erasmus+ program, including for Kazakhstan: capacity building in higher education, Erasmus Mundus , international mobility and the Jean Monet program.
Students Shukenova M., Omirbekova A. also gave a brief overview of the participating countries, partner countries in English about the implemented projects under the Erasmus+ program at KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov (Harmonee, Tutorial, ChildCA, For21, LMQS, Spring, Modehed, Accelerated). Information about volunteer movements under the Erasmus+ program was presented by student Zhenis M.
Each item of the informational and introductory block was accompanied by a quiz, feedback in a playful way. Guests of the event: Professor of the department Toguzbayeva Karlygash Kabdeshevna, lecturer of the department Abzal Zhumagalievich, as well as Head of the Department of Public Health Kozhekenova Zhanat Asetovna expressed their opinions and wishes for the further development and integration of the program. Students of the OZ19-001-1 and other groups of the 4th year of the specialty “public health” actively participated in the organization of the event.
