On October 24, 2024, the Department of Public Health of the School of Public Health named after H. Dosmukhammedov held a book exhibition on the topic: “Korikti Kazakstanym”, dedicated to the Republic Day.

The event was organized by 2.4 year students of the specialty “Public Health” and Preventive Medicine.

Republic Day is one of the most important holidays for our country. As the Head of State noted, K-Zh.Tokayev: “Republic Day should become a symbol of the country’s historic step towards building a state. Republic Day is a harbinger of our independence, a denominator of a historical event. Therefore, this holiday has a special significance for us, reminiscent of a historical date, the moment of the revival of the national spirit, which has become a symbol of the formation of an independent country.”

The library has been prepared for open viewing of periodicals and printed publications, and a book exhibition has been organized. The head of the reference and bibliographic department, S. A. Eleukenova, conducted a bibliographic review of the literature presented.

The event was opened by the Dean of the School of Public Health named after Dosmukhammedova A.N.Nurbakyt, telling about the history of our country.In conclusion, the head of the “educational department” of KazNMU named after S. J. Asfendiyarov, J. A. Baigaraev, identified the place of youth in our country and the importance of the history of our country.

The celebration ended with a concert program.
