\nThis masterclass aimed to unify and finalize three following main directions for the improvement of Assessment of Master and PhD thesis in Nursing Science in Kazakhstan Universities: a) the assessment criteria; b) guidelines for the procedures of assessment; c) guidelines for establishing Research Committees for the assessment of Master\u2019s and PhD thesis in Nursing.
\nA total of 33 participants, academic staff, students and experts in the field of nursing science took part in the Masterclass from the partnering Kazakh and European Universities. Assessment criteria for Master\u2019s and PhD thesis assessment, guidelines for the procedures of the assessment including Research Committees were established. The KNMU team was presented by the administrator and national project coordinator Assel Khasenova, Head of the Department of Nursing Dinara Makhanbetkulova, Chairman of the Research Committ\u0435\u0435 in the direction of \u00abpublic health\u00bb Zhanat Kozhekenova and vice-chairman of the Research Committ\u0435\u0435 in the direction of \u00abpublic health\u00bb Akmaral Aitmanbetova.
\nThe partners discussed the future planning of implementation and dissemination of the outcomes of the Masterclass. The Kazakhstan participants made an agreement and shared their plans for implementation of the Masterclass outcomes in their respective Universities.<\/p>\n
