After modernization process it transformed into a department of hygiene and occupational medicine, with a course of community hygiene, hygiene of children and adolescents. Currently, due to a sharp reduction in academic hours, the department has been transformed into a preventive medicine course, consisting of the following disciplines: occupational health and medicine; community hygiene; hygiene of children and adolescents; radiation hygiene; preventive medicine. The preventive medicine course is part of the Department of Nutrition. Current faculty and staff: professor d.m.s Toguzbaeva Karlygash Kabdeshevna., Professor d.m.s. Karabalin Serik Karabalaevich, Associate Professor, c.m.s. Tekmanova Ainur Kumarbekovna., lecturer Seyduanova Laura Beisbekovna., assistant Kusaynova Elmira Izbasarovna., senior laboratory assistant Asylkhan Bayan Nurlankyzy.<\/p>\n

Professor Lukashev A.A., associate professors Filin A.P., Kudarov S.E., assistants Lee M.V., Funso Zh.V., Azerbaeva G.Kh., Absattarova K.S. ., Shardarbekova G.U., Ramazanova M.A., Akhmetzhanova N.K., Zhelderbaeva M.K., Zhunistaev D.D., Meyirman A.S. and etc. worked as faculty at the department.<\/p>\n
