As part of the department\u2019s student development activities, Head of Department A.Sh. Aimakhanova, lecturers A.K. Ashirbekova and D.S. Martykenova, and first-year Public Health students from groups \u041e\u041726-001 and \u041e\u041726-002 jointly organised the initiative to foster environmental awareness, social responsibility and respect for natural resources among students.<\/p>\n

To implement the initiative, an agreement was signed with Ecosen, an organisation\u00a0specialising in the separate collection of waste and recyclable materials. As part of this partnership, Ecosen provided dedicated bins for collecting waste paper and plastic.<\/p>\n

The bins are located on the 4th floor of the academic building at 37a <\/strong>Zheltoksan<\/strong> Street.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our first results:<\/strong> thanks to the active participation of students and staff, 115 kg of waste paper has already been collected and handed over for recycling since the start of the academic year!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Participation helps students put responsible consumption into practice in their daily lives and recognise their personal contribution to protecting the environment.<\/p>\n

We invite all students, lecturers and university staff to take part in separate waste collection and use the bins according to their labels.<\/p>\n

Environmental responsibility starts with simple actions by each of us!<\/strong><\/p>\n
