On March 18, 2026, 3rd year students of the educational program “medical and preventive work” of the School of Public Health named after H. Dosmukhamedov took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition “national costume-a bright reflection of the culture of the nation”, organized within the framework of the decade “Nauryznama” at the National Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This exhibition is aimed at promoting national costumes as an important reflection of the cultural code and historical memory of the Kazakh people. During the exhibition, students received cognitive information about the worldview, lifestyle, social structure and aesthetic taste of the population through traditional clothing models.

The exposition showed the differences in national costumes depending on different ages, social status and marital status. In addition, tools for the manufacture of clothing, versions of historical photographs transformed by artificial intelligence were presented, and visitors had the opportunity to compare the original images and their characteristics using QR codes.

During the event, students realized that the national costume is not only a household necessity, but also has a symbolic and cognitive function, each ornament and ornament reflects the spiritual values and worldview of our people.

Excursions organized within the framework of the exhibition, meetings with ethnographic scientists and ethnodesigners, as well as a defile of national costumes, contributed to the formation of students ‘ historical consciousness and interest in national culture.

This cultural and educational event was aimed at reviving the national heritage among young people, strengthening ethno-cultural identity and popularizing national values.
