On November 15-16, 2022, Vice-Rector Davletov K.K., Head of the Department of “Public Health” Kozhekenova Zh.A., Head of the Department of “Nursing” Makhanbetkulova D.N. took part in a mixed seminar organized by the WHO European Office for the Prevention and Control of NCDs, the WHO European Center for Primary Health Care and the NCDs Management program.

The webinar is dedicated to the presentation of the BRIEF Guide: Integrated brief interventions on risk factors for the development of noncommunicable diseases at the primary health care level. Seminar participants from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Spain, Ireland, England, Albania, Lithuania, Turkey, Georgia actively shared their experience in implementing short interventions at the PHC level and actively participated in a panel discussion on the role and competencies of various primary care professionals for short interventions.
