On June 5, 2025, at the Republican Higher Medical College. International conference «Public health in the era of global changes» dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Professor A. Chokin was organized in Almaty within the framework of ANaMed Forum – New Generation 2025. R. Within the framework of the conference, the section «Nursing education: preparation of future leaders» presented its work.

The work section was organized by the head of the «Nursing Department» department of the Kazakh National Medical University named after S. D. Asfendiyarova, doctor of medical sciences Seydumanov Sultan Turovich and teachers of the department, as well as candidate of medical sciences, general director of the republican higher medical college Ruzdenova Nailiya Beksautovna and teachers of the college.

Leading experts in the field of nursing education and health care from various countries, including Kazakhstan, took part in the event. Among the guests of honor are professor, PhD Yukari Takeno from Nagoya University (Japan), rector of the Academy of Nurses of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nasyrova Rano Rakhimovna, associate professor of the School of Public Health of the Tashkent Medical Academy Urazalieva Ilmira Ravkatovna, as well as Alikulova Dilrabo Yakhshibayevna.

A total of 117 people took part in the work section. Of them, 66 participants from educational organizations (colleges and higher education institutions), 25 specialists from practical healthcare organizations, as well as 99 people in the online format. The number of speakers is 26 (16 of them offline, 10 online).

Current issues of modernization of nursing education, formation of leadership competencies of future nurses, implementation of international standards in clinical practice and the role of nursing personnel in ensuring the stability of the health care system are discussed within the section.
