The Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov hosted the event “Tauelsizdik-tugyrym!”, organized by the Department of Public Health and the School of Public Health, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The purpose of the event: to explain to the younger generation the importance of independence, to educate students with a sense of responsibility and patriotism before the Motherland, before the people, as well as to recall the history of the country on the eve of the celebration of the independence of the country. To show the achievements and development of the country during the period of independence.

Students and teachers of the Department of Public Health took an active part in the event, a survey on independence was conducted among participants and students, small group games were played. On the national instrument – dombra, the magic kui sounded. At the end of the evening, guests and teachers performed, and active students were presented with letters of thanks and small gifts for participation.
