On November 21, 2024, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “ECOLOGY AND CURRENT PROBLEMS OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION” was held in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan. The organizers of the conference are Tashkent Medical Academy, Republic of Uzbekistan and KOREA UNIVERSITY, South Korea.

The event was attended by leading experts in the field of environmental hygiene from Uzbekistan, South Korea, Kazakhstan, and Russia, who discussed issues of ecology, hygiene, and current environmental protection issues.

The Department of Public Health of the S.D. Asfendiyarov KazNMU took an active part in the conference represented by Associate Professor with an academic title, PhD Anambaeva A.I. and lecturer Abuov D.Zh.

Associate Professor with an academic title, PhD Anambaeva A.I. presented a report: “Basics of Forming a Healthy Lifestyle in Children and Adolescents”, lecturer Abuov D.Zh. made a report “Introduction to Preventive Medicine in Kazakhstan”. The presented reports aroused genuine interest of the audience.

Based on the results of the International scientific and practical conference, Associate Professor with an academic title, PhD Anambaeva A.I. and lecturer Abuov D.Zh. of the Department of Public Health received certificates from KOREA UNIVERSITY and the Tashkent Medical Academy for participation in the International scientific and practical conference “ECOLOGY AND CURRENT PROBLEMS OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION”.

The exchange of experience and knowledge between hygienists within the framework of such conferences undoubtedly contributes to mutual enrichment, increased awareness, and knowledge and professional qualifications of hygiene specialists.
